bitch called the 5-0 on me tonight because we were having an argument. since she knows I would never hurt her she told them that I was trying to hurt myself. I got lucky. Cops talked to both of us and called BS and told her that she needed to go somewhere else. when they first showed up they said that they would have to take me to the looney bin for a 96 hour evaluation. luckily the officer was pretty understanding.

No, this isn't about being a violent jerk. This is about protecting his financial, emotional, legal, and mental interests because he's been told he's no longer needed or wanted.

Well, I've been unusually tactful and sensitive (for me) about this. He apparently knew she'd had an affair with this married guy before, which to me was something he should have been concerned with to begin with, but sometimes it's hard to see that kind of thing when you're the one in the relationship.

Frankly, I think it's pointless and a little low to be jumping on the guy like this. He's come here obviously with some degree of pain and confusion. You support someone like that, you don't yell at him that it's his fault. That kind of thing you talk about later, after the hurt wears off a little. There's not really anything to be gained from berating him now. It's insensitive and it comes across as hurtful, in my opinion. That kind of insensitivity is not something you'd throw out at someone you're trying to help, and I think by and large we're all trying to be helpful.

Like I said, there is more to this story. No one is jumping on him but instead saying 'WAKE UP'. I mean how many more red flags need there be? He needs to start looking out for his number one...and that should be HIM.

Nothing she said had anything to do with compassion. She was trying to turn it around on him, until the ex-fiance goes from being the one who left to being the victim. Even if, in the end, that turns out to be true, you don't start throwing that kind of crap at the guy NOW, of all times, when he's most vulnerable.
