If you see something like F-Like, that means if you're female than that companion will like that item.

So, I finally, after playing for weeks, found my class and stye of choice that I like to play in this game. After trying just about everything, I finally settled on:

Scoundrel

Its a blast. Since I PvP a lot, I can DPS or Heal. The story is pretty fun and entertaining as well.

If anyone is playing or plans on playing a scoundrel, quick note if you PvP. It is very "soft" until around level 36, when you get shoot first. Thats the ability where you slip out of stealth and knock someone flat on their face for almost 2 seconds. It is an absolute riot to play and you can be an absolute terror in warzones. That being said, you REALLY have the ability to piss people off during WZ matches. Let me explain.

Scoundrel, specced into Scrapper tree, is a very opportunistic hunter. You look for stragglers, people low on health, or people completely on their own. You harass healers and tie them up so they have to heal themselves and are not able to heal their team. But what I have noticed is that, once you start laying waste to some people, they completely forget what is going on in the warzone and start looking for you. It is quite entertaining to see this.

I hit level 43 last night and messed around with the sawbones tree (healing) and it does pretty well. I healed Collicoid Wars and then played some WZ matches where I regularly hit over 220k healing.

Definitely a fun class to play if you haven't. Different play style.

After I hit 50 on my Scoundrel, I am debating between a Gunslinger or Vanguard. Gunslinger, because it is just pure DPS and Vanguard, because its a great tank and can do great DPS.

I heard EC is comparable to NM Karagga's in difficulty on Story Mode and Hard Mode is untouchable. LOL, all those people crying about the content being too easy are now going to cry for nerfs.

Few random things from playing on the PTS:

Riding your speeder in spaceports=awesome
Not having your regeneration move interrupted by bleeds=awesome
UI customizations=awesome although I don't use many of them

I didn't get into any of the meaty legacy stuff because I had to level a new character, who's only now approaching level 30. But there's just something about this patch that makes me like the game more, and I liked it plenty before. The negative side of the coin is that all my live characters are dirt poor, so I can't afford much if any of the legacy stuff, so it's going to take a few months of slow grinding to get my bank up (I think I might have 2.5 million credits total across my account). Which is okay, because my work season starts in a week and I'll be lucky to fit in an hour or two a day until July.

Just managed to get my legacy on the test server barely halfway into level 29. Think that's a new record for me. Sith Warrior class story is awesome.

By the way, that location that republic characters can't reach in the dune sea appears to be the site of an imperial agent class quest. Imp speeder runs to that spot.

I really enjoyed the SW story. And the companions are awesome. Jaesa Willsam is the best, and if you convert her to the dark side, she is romanceable.
