IMO biggest key to this series is Greinke/Kershaw. Outside of them I don't believe any of their pitchers can win a game against us. They should have 4 starts, so since we beat them once, I don't think LA has the pitching to stay in it even if they take the home field advantage tonight. Ryu was 1-3 in Sept. and got shelled against the Braves. Nolasco hasn't even pitched in the post season. Capuano had a losing record with only 11 decisions and an ERA over 4.

Miller has arm fatigue. At least that's what the STL reporters are saying. Nothing said from the club.

I'm assuming thats true. Another assumption is they don't want to damage him long term but after the strasburg debacle, everyone is tight lipped.

It really is the only explanation for Miller not being used or will only be used for an inning or two. Unless he is in the doghouse for some reason we will never know.

He had help from Mattingly pulling Gonzalez. Just because he throws two innings without pissing down his leg doesn't mean that he won't piss down his leg the next time. We have seen it all year. If Miller has arm fatigue, then he is our only option. Kelly will be able to come in for 3-4 innings.
