Lelie made 3 of the longest catches in the Chiefs preseason... and Im actually surprised that he was cut, when you consider how shitty our WR corps is.

Was he shitty in practice?

I'm not sure why he was cut... when our WR's suck so much ass.

Dude, so far Lawrence has pretty much sucked at both catching and returning. He has 10 catches about 5 drops and 1 or 2 fumbles.

Nah, we watched the games.

Lawrence has the tools and has upside. Lelie has been in this league how many years? He hasn't learned any new tricks in his entire career. Get his ass out of here.

He sucks thats why he has been cut from every team he's been on, it doesn't matter if he's fast. He can't run good routes or block or play special teams!

Yeah, let's forget about those 2 seasons he spent on teams with QB carousels.
Two teams will absolutely AWFUL offenses.
3 years ago he was more productive than any WR on this roster not named Dwayne Bowe.

But... Surely we can rely on a bunch of WR's who are lucky to even be in the NFL let alone on a roster.

Look for him to land back on the roster after the first game. If you take a veteran into the season, his salary is guaranteed for that year.

If you cut him, and then bring him back after the first game.... you can cut him again anytime during the season wtihout a problem.

Plus, even at the veteran minimum, he makes far more than the younger guys and he doesn't play special teams.

It is all how much value are you getting for each dollar spent.
