How many catches did Maclin have this week?...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I do because it keeps the D honest whether Maclin is primary or not on any play. Now we have no real WR threat and now Bill can have more fun dialing up more creative blitzes and coverages.

I really like the way the Chiefs defense matches up with the Patriots offense. They have a banged up OL, an immobile quarterback, and don't necessarily scare anyone with their running game.

Does New England throw the ball down the field a lot? They still strike me as a team thats a lot like the Chiefs on offense. A lot of short to intermediate throws and they methodically move down the field.

That literally plays into the Chiefs hands because thats what we defend so well.

Tom is immobile. He isn't going to extend plays like Johnny Football did against us, and he's not going to have enough time to heave the ball down the field...

We can win this game. Its just a matter of the offense once again putting up enough points to get the job done.

Speed also keeps the D honest. We have tons of that. Maclin hurts but it really isn't the end all be all.

It's huge. The chemistry and trust that Alex & Maclin have cannot be discounted because we saw what it looked like last year when he didn't have anyone like that. This is especially the case when it comes to the deep ball. Maclin more often than not will either go get it or it will be on point whereas his attempts to Wilson and Conley down the field pretty much never has a chance.

They have Gronk, and Edelman will be back. That offense will not be impotent like it has been recently.

Alex is going to be throwing it regardless of trust, it's do or die mode in the playoffs.

He's always been good at spreading the ball around, just now he has Maclin and Kelce to throw to.

Their secondary is not that good.

Their front 7 and run defense are...
