Trade Question

I have a need for RB, I have good WRs in Jackson, Maclin and Wallace.

I have two trade proposals to improve my RBs, and I'm not 100% sure which way to go, I would appreciate the feedback from the great CP minds....

Vincent Jackson for Ahmad Bradshaw
Maclin for Ben Tate or Mike Tolbert

what I've been thinking all morning;

Jackson seems sorta boom or bust this year, but coming off a likely best game this season, his stock is really high. However, with Rivers throwing the ball, he may have several games this year like this weeks.

Bradshaw is disappointing this year so far. Is this a trend, or will he rebound?

Maclin, I love rooting for this guy. But he's given me the impression of injury prone. He has Vick throwing to him, which is another wild card. I'd hate myself to trade him and he end up being in the best three WRs stats wise. However, if I don't trade him and he gets hurt, I lost my chance to sell high.

Ben tate, success depends on foster's hamstring. d'uh. could be a good stop gap but probably not worth the trade.

Tolbert, phillip rivers, doing good, I don't know what to feel about this guy. They are playing the chiefs this week, so his numbers should be even higher for another week. His value would be pretty good for another trade in a couple weeks.

well I took it, but I tried to trade maclin for tolbert first and got turned down! and he wanted Maclin!!! I picked Dexter from the waiver wire, so between him and bradshaw hopefully I get a solid number 2 (cause I feel like I got shit on anyway....)

now it's up to the voters

I'm not surprised he passed after looking at his roster. By making that deal he's screwed himself at WR for Week 7, and really screwed himself at RB2, because Tate isn't going to play forever. Once Foster comes back, Tate's worthless, unless Foster gets hurt again.

Ultimately, you had to do something. You weren't going to be competitive playing Kuhn or Dexter every week at RB2. Bradshaw is 20th in RB scoring through 2 games and IMO, is a solid RB2. He's head and ****ing shoulders better than Kuhn and McCluster, that's for sure.

No one else in the league had the RB depth available to give you a better player. And it's silly for you to sit on Wallace, Jackson and Maclin when you can only play two of them every week. You did what you had to do.

On my end, I'm praying to God that Starks keeps playing at this level, or I'm ****ed.

Well, he wanted maclin - asked for a trade with any RB not named Forte. so I shot him a fair offer and then he declined. But whatever.

I just worry about maclin's health. I hope he continues and this is his break out year, he's certainly showing capability. Just damned if you do and damned if you don't sometimes....
