I think we will see the red pants this weekend.I saw an old clip today in which we were wearing the Red pants, and I think that they look sharp.Should be plenty of blood to go around and it will show up just fine on the jerseys.

Thos snappy-looking pants will match the embarassed red faces of the Chiefs defense as Mike Anderson becomes the first player in NFL history to rush for 100+ yards in his first three starts. He'll likely also take over the NFL rushing lead from (cough) Tiki Barber on Sunday.

I can't believe how many of you want those red pants! Man, I just think they look so bad. I was so happy when they went away. I always liked the road "whites." They're just old school and basic. I think the only improvements that should be made to the uniforms is gray face masks ala Giants and Cardinals. White facemasks look "soft!"

I remember thinking in the early 90s, when the Chiefs would lose an important road game, it had to be those white pants. Marty always lost the big games in Cleveland when he had them wear their white pants. After due consideration, I realize, it might be the team, not the pants. I don't care what color pants they wear Sunday, just win.

I always liked the red pants, and have never been fond of the white ones.

Az,
I'm with you hear. IMHO, those red pants look reerunED and outdated. I hated them 20 years ago and my opinion has not changed. I also remember how BAD those Chiefs teams were that wore them in the late '70's and early '80's. |

So, you think the red pants were responsible for the Chiefs poor play?
I know that is not what you're saying Tx, but that's how the post looks. ------------------ Red Eyes Chinn Up. The SitCom must die!! |

If the Chiefs are going to break out the new uniforms, I would bet on the red pants makiing their debut.
Of course this is only speculation as there has been no official word from the Chiefs. Remember, you saw it here first? ------------------ Remember Joe Delaney? Some of us do and are acting on our belief that he was a hero. This is a bandwagon that all are invited to jump on!!! 37 Forever |

DJay23 I think you'll really like the book it has some great photo's with some interesting reading. Not being born until 1970 those early Chiefs of the 60's and 70's were really intivative with the use of the moving pocket and the motion offense. I don't think I ever got enough credit for all that....Ha Ha. [This message has been edited by HankStram (edited 09-23-2000).] |

What's the possibility that they show up with a flaming arrowhead on their helmets. It would be totally different. I don't know why but I had a dream that they did.
