I got the reverse feeling after watching this non-episode. Maybe one or two characters get wasted but the whole damn thing looks like it's going to end in a large group hug - can't we all just get along - and they all run off to join Greenpeace to save the whales. ("I heard there be whales out there Capt.)

Side note - Adama has turned into a drunk IMO, and if I am forced to see one more cheesy meltdown between him and his dying love, I'm going to puke.

I saw a post at SyFy portal a number of months ago stating there wouldn't be many effects in the last arc, because they were saving the effects budget for the finale. I think we're going to get the MOASB.

That's pretty much where I'm at. Though I think it's a decent portrayal of a man who has lost/is losing absolutely everything (His ship, his love, his "hope"), I hate watching it. I'm really hoping that we see the return of the Old Man from the end of the original Miniseries in this last couple of episodes. I think the decision to strip the Galactica and use it for one last mission shows he's breaking through the booze and self-pity.


At least he's not walking around muttering "Howwww do I reeech theeese toasterz?"
