Underwhelming at his best at the moment. Will see what Sutton can get out of him.

Damn. Is John Dorsey eating babies for snacks? He is putting the pounds on. Maybe he should back off the BBQ with Andy Reid?

how come we expect 1 overall rookie tackles to struggle, but expectations for 1 overall qb are to come in and be great?

Im not sure about that. I think Chiefs fans think that if they were going to take a tackle number one that he better be Orlando Pace ish. I don't have a whole lot of experience with a Linemen being taken number one overall, but Joe Thomas went third, and in his first game, he looked absolutely awful. The Steelers beat his ass, and Charlie Frye got sacked like 9 times.

I think he turned out okay though.

I think everyone expects qbs to struggle. A lot of people think that Andrew Luck Struggled last year. Im not sure how a guy that led his team to the playoffs, and a bunch of come from behind victories struggled.

But, people do forget too, that Peyton Manning his rookie season, threw something like 21 tds, and 28 ints, and his team won very few games, because they drafted edge number 4 the next year.

There is a transition, and a struggle to the league. As long as he is progressing as the season goes on, then its not big deal. A rookie is a rookie.

****, people. Do you forget how truly awful some of these players were? Comparing Alex Smith to Cassel is an insult to everyone who had to watch Cassel. Comparing Tyson Jackson to literally the worst chiefs player I've ever seen? No.

Jackson just represents so much fail on behalf of the Pioli regime that most chiefs fans are incapable of ever recognizing any ability whatsoever. This is all in response to someone saying that Eric Fisher getting beat by him on a single play is somehow a death knell, as if Tyson Jackson were actually a thirteen year old girl with one leg. It's just silly overreaction. Chiefsplanet at its finest.

Tyson Jackson is a mediocre player.
You get the same production out of 6th and 7th round picks that are cycled in and out of this league ever year.

Up until the end of last season I would have agreed to this. He seemed to pick it up big time the last half of the season didn't he?

One thing is for sure, he will perform or he will be gone next year. May be gone next year either way with it being a contract year.

Jackson gets about the exact same production as Marcus Spears did for the Cowboys. No one called him a bust or said how much he sucked, but he was a late first round pick. People may say hating Jackson has nothing to do with where he was drafted, but that's a lie.

No one here calls Spears a bust because no one here cares that the Cowboys pissed away a 1st round pick on a bust.
