Your Favorite Eric Berry Moments

Ever since Berry was drafted in 2010, he's been a fan favorite. He progressively got better every year as a Chief, and would have been a slam dunk Ring of Famer had he stayed healthy.

Since he is de facto retired, barring some miracle recovery, it's worth perhaps going over some of our favorite plays (and other things) Berry's given us over his short, great career.

The thing that sticks out in my mind is "gimme that ball ELIIIII" from last year's Giants game.

My favorite Berry play was probably his first career interception. I can't remember who it was against but it was deep into that fun 2010 season, he was a rookie playing very well and just hadn't secured that first INT yet.

Berry caught the INT, ran around every which way for 20 minutes, then finally got tackled within 10 yards of the endzone. Flowers guided him up by the shoulder pads and the entire defense swarmed him in a confident strut. You could tell it was important to everyone, and how well liked Berry was.

My dad has season tickets. He's an older man and doesn't have great eyes, but he could always tell when Berry landed the tackle. Berry was a rare form tackler in today's NFL.

I'm sure you guys can think of better moments.

That whole mic'd up clip with him is great. Really shows the joy he had in playing.

Yea, I would agree. If it is cancer, football is secondary. Fight it for your life, not for football.

I doubt there is one person on this board who does not know someone with cancer.

It's cancer dude, when was the last time that a football player returned to the field after fighting off lymphoma?

So yes, it would be very shocking.

Favorite Eric Berry moments were actually from college. His hit that blew up the Bama receiver and the hit that he put on Moreno.

I can't think of any players that have ever had cancer during their playing years so that's pretty irrelevant.

This. I loved that moment. They were all dancing like fools in our endzone before the playoff game. He just stood there and said, alright, I will remember this. We obviously lost the game......but still loved the attitude.

No one can?

What about Mario Lemieux? Didn't he come back from lymphoma?

Yeah, I get that it's incredibly unlikely... but nothing is ever certain.

Mario Lemieux was a piano player.

Berry is a piano lifter.

I was waiting for Piloi to **** up that pick; and he actually took him. I was thrilled.

this kid is everything I want in a football player.
period.

between him and Jamaal, they're one of the few reasons why I even still watch the NFL anymore. they are a dying breed, for me personally.
