Vandy is a bottom feeder in sec football much like kansas is in the big 12. But their stadium was still over 90% full.

There were actually 55,000 fans at the Vanderbilt game. Turns out the school made a typo. You know how that goes... (If you aren't ESPN, that is...they still show 25k for Kansas.)

That's a rather sizable difference, yes?

Also, not like Missouri fans didn't travel well. Mizzou sold out its allotment of 3500 tickets, and I have seen estimates that around 8000 Mizzou fans were there. In perusing a few Vandy message boards during and after the game, I saw comments comparing Mizzou's takeover to that of other schools in the SEC (Tennesee and Georgia were the ones I saw mentioned).
Mizzou pretty much owned the visitors side of the stadium. I'd say it was about 2/3 Mizzou fans on that side of the field.

And Mizzou fans also pretty much dominated downtown both before and after the game. They were serving drink in Harpos cups at the Tin Roof. Frank Haith showed up and led the whole damn bar in a MIZ chant a couple of times.

We were getting MIZ chants from the roof of the honkey tonk bar downtown on Friday night (that big 3-story sucker with balconies a lot like Quentins). Just walking down the sidewalk would get you a 'Go Tigers!' Whiskey Bend saloon turned into a complete MU bar by the end of the night; complete with Tiger flags flying out front.

It's laughable that this numbnut is trying to talk attendance smack on last weekend when Mizzou pretty much invaded Nashville for the weekend and KU was setting records for poor attendance on homecoming.

They do not care for that, as it turns out.

My buddies and I got the bird from three different people. We figured they wouldn't be pleased.

Yeah, it was a noticeable "CHIEFS!!" for sure.

It was a blast - you really missed out.

Our seats were 4 rows back and cost us about $35/ticket on the Mizzou sideline.

LP Field, OTOH, is damn proud of their seats. I'd say on average tickets are about twice what we pay at Arrowhead.

So it's fine for you to talk student section attendance percentage but nobody can mention whole stadium attendance percentage.

I guess it makes sense that if a KU fan is going to run smack on Alabama for football attendance, there are going to have to be a lot of exclusions

Pick the topic. You'll lose.

Your team is historically bad.

You haven't won a conference game in well over 1,000 days...in a terrible conference.

Your morbidly obese coach calls your team a pile of crap...and I'm guessing the guy knows a thing or two about piles of crap.

Your fans just set a record for fewest people to attend a game.

They did it on homecoming.

Your best player just knocked himself unconscious on the track that circles your field.

Your team just tried to run a punter scramble on fourth and long from it's own 10 yard line in a tie game...a cluster **** that looked more like a Benny Hill skit than a football play.

If you put 1% of the effort you expend proving how dumb you are by talking shit into attending games, maybe your school wouldn't have to falsify attendance numbers in order to (unsuccessfully) avoid being the butt of jokes in the local media.

I fat-fingered the page number and stumbled across this gem from 100 pages back. He was correct...until the first game started and Mizzou was favored...

Thank you for moving into KU's spot. We were getting tired of it.

With a good showing on Saturday, I'd expect Missouri to be favored against SC and Florida coming up, and possibly for every game remaining on the schedule outside of Texas A&M and perhaps @ Ole Miss.
