Rogaine

Any of you guys use Rogaine with success? I'm curious if you like the stuff and if you would recommend it to any one. My forehead is getting bigger
and balder

My hairline started receding about 5-6 years ago when I was 23-24. It must be falling out EXTREMELY slow because I never see any hairs and it still looks the same as it did when I first noticed it. Im not worried about it, if it starts getting too bad I'll just shave it all.

Medical hair restoration.

Living in So Fla. you hear more about it.

I don't know anything else about it, except that they surgically transfer hair follicles on your head, meaning that it will grow and all, but damn. WTF?

I noticed my hair was a little thinner when I was 22. I'm 28 now, and it looks exactly the same.

I started to notice my hairline recede when I was around 23. I have since used a Mach3 on it every other day. Funny thing is that my hairline hasn't receded any further since then but I love having a bald head. Also, before getting married, having a bald head increased my game two-fold. I had girls walk up to me ask to touch my head all the time. I used to worry about loosing my hair, now I really don't care cause I shave it either way.

Back in like 1992, I knew a guy that used Rogaine. That was when it was prescription and very expensive. He said it worked really well (when I met him, I couldn't tell he had any hair loss).

I ran into him at a party about six months later and he had pretty bad hair loss. He said it just became too expensive to continue but that he lost far more hair after starting and stopping Rogaine. He wasn't sure if that was a side-effect or if he would have normally lost that much hair without the Rogaine.

I know a guy who's been using Propecia for about 10 years and there's no way you'd be able to tell he's ever had any hair loss. But that requires a prescription.

Good luck.

I've got the Gallagher look going except for the hat. I've been thinking of that Bosley Hair Replacement seriously now for awhile. I need to call and see what the cost is, I'm sure it'll be a couple grand or more.

I had a buddy who did the hair implant thing. He said it was both expensive and painful. He only did a couple of treatments then quit.

As Darth Vader would say, "It is too late for me, son." They have pictures representing baldness levels on the side of the box which indicate how effective Rogaine will be for you - under the one that matches my level of baldness, it says "put the box back on the shelf and get a fucking hat."

I do the shave thing as well. Wish I'd started doing it a long time before I did.

Unless you have a lumpy, misshapen head, that's probably your best bet. Just embrace the horror and move on with your life.

Just don't try it on your balls. Gives new meaning to not being able to find the tree for the forest.
