2017 Rookie QB Watch thread
Since there was so much debate about who to draft figured this would be a fun thread.

First up Deshaun Watson: 15-for-25 for 179 yards. He also had three carries for 24 yards and a rushing touchdown. He had a sweet rushing TD. Still think he would have been a good fit here.

He was terribly inaccurate on a few timing routes also had 1 drop (I think unless they are also counting some of his other inaccurate throws as drops)

After wk 1, I had Trubisky/Kizer, Mahomes, Watson but all pretty close.

After wk 2, I have Mahomes, Trubisky...,Kizer.......,Watson

Only two weeks in but to me, Watson, the supposed most ready, looks like the biggest bustable QB of the 4. Some of his throws were just awful.

Kizer surprised me the first game. I was a little disappointed in his last game. Just kind of meh...not impressed but he didn't do anything wrong.

Yep. Kizer has looked a lot more poised at times than I would expect. There was a reason why Texans had the "meh" reaction draft day on Watson.

I watched the Houston game and could not believe how bad Watson looked. He's athletic, so yay. But it's inaccurate... badly.

He looks like Johnny Football out there. Great college player who doesn't appear to have it at a pro level. Two games in, but... plenty of quarterbacks show out in the same amount of time.

I am confused that the Watson hype train has continued so strong. He keeps being picked to have the biggest impact as a rookie QB. I don't think he even starts for quite a while.

If Glennon starts over Trubisky, something is really amiss in Chicago.
