Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

I read that after The Machinist, Bale ate and ate and gained a shit load of weight to where he became bear-like, and he had to lose weight for Batman Begins, again. Actually, they had to keep readjusting the batsuit he wore because he was constantly losing weight throughout the duration of filming.

Your body will convert your fat to energy.

I have plenty of energy during fasted workouts. Even after 36 hours. And I typically bike to the gym.

I have no idea how you don't eat something big because of the serious hunger.

To me, hunger is awful. It's like trying to off yourself by holding your breath. You just can't do it and when you get air after holding your breath for so long, you get a lot.
