Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Been checking out more IO reviews. I think I'm sold. One of the reviews had a link to the manufacturer, so I can actually get this for $60 cheaper than Atlantic.

UTG makes a quick detach side mount rail, so I could mount my Lucid red dot on it - not much need for distance precision on an AK, so I think that would be perfect.

I think I'll give these guys a call tomorrow.

Same here. I like the stock - one of the reviews talked about how the straight design of the stock reduces muzzle climb.

Of course, that stock won't stay on for long anyway - I am getting the bumpfire. The AR will be my precision distance rifle. This will be my **** YOU DIE rifle.

That's a sweet looking rifle. All the guns I have, with the exception of inherited ones, are synthetic. Even the shotties.

Looks like I'm going to order this late tomorrow or Friday (billing period on the AMEX rolls over on the 3rd). $540 plus $20 shipping, plus another $20 for my FFL. Works for me!

Ordered. They're currently out of stock, should get some more in next week. I should have it in about 10 days.

I had thought about getting a small compact pistol just for fun (LC9/PF9 etc), but I'm now thinking a .22; something that my wife could also shoot, and something that's fun/cheap to plink with.

the Beretta NEOS peaked my interest...especially upon discovering the carbine conversion kit thing. This thing would be a blast to shoot in any configuration. Especially at the $215 and below price point.

Will do. I also got some accessories coming, including a Galil foreguard, side mount for the red dot and barrel pit rail attachment for a bipod.

I'll probably order the bump fire stock next week.
