Brannen Greene is a giant douche

So, as my girlfriend and I were dropping off two of my close friends at the Oread Hotel, Brannen Greene is walking out. Obviously, hammered out of his mind. Takes one look inside our car and decides to throw a pizza box right onto my windshield. Before I can even get out and say anything, the prick comes up to my side window and starts yelling obscenities and asking me what the f*** I'm going to do. Okay, I get it, you are a Kansas basketball player. Congratulations, bum. I try to let the bad apple be and just leave without incident, but as we are trying to leave, Greene and his friend, with a group of about 4 girls, are standing exactly in the exit of the drive. We honk and they immediately start to turn and yell at us as if we are in the wrong, but my girlfriend opens the door and tells them to get the f*** out of the way and they again, direct nothing but hostility towards us as if we're wrong for trying to use the drive and by interrupting their conversation. Of course, everybody laughs and security does nothing. I know it's a college basketball town, but damn, I am really pissed off right now because of this idiotic behavior and disrespectful nature. I decided to take the high road since I am 28 and recently out of the Navy, but I know the guy has had issues before because it is continuously brought up by his lack of playing time and comments from Self. I just lost a TON of respect for these guys.

Yeah no one ever uses hyperbole on the internet. Truly shocking.

KU fans are the Bronco fans of the college basketball universe though. I've always said that... going back to the Roy Williams years on here. Of course now Roy Williams is basically your Dan Reeves. Self is your Shanahan.

Danny clearly had his totally, completely, 180%, airtight, sound as a pound justified reason(s), but can't talk about it publicly due to a superseding no takeback, double pinky swear on it.

I think we can all agree that Duke fans are the Patriot fans of the CBB world.

I'm a Chiefs fan, a Timberwolves fan, and if I gave half a shit about baseball I'd call myself a Royals fan, even though I do root for them throughout the season. Surely I'm entitled to root for a winner in at least one sport, right?

KU is an anomaly in a region of sports fans more used to suffering from Stockholm syndrome than celebrating Championships, sadly. Even then, they've had some crushing blows leveled on them over the past, too.

No, if the rest of us do not get to derive any joy from life, neither do you. Sorry.

I'm not with the rest of you. I have no ties to Missouri. My cousins moved to Olathe around the same time I first started liking/watching football as a child. Kansas City became my team that way.

I think I've been to Missouri MAYBE once when the end destination wasn't either Arrowhead Stadium or the KC or St. Louis airports.

Happy happy joy joy, I guess.

It's amazing how much venom the victim in the story is drawing, and how many excuses are made for the piece of shit athlete.

Are all KU fans as big a piece of crap as this moron they're defending?
