Al Saunders retires

Saw some news that he is retiring from football. I wish him well.

http://www.silverandblackpride.com/2015/4/10/8382895/al-saunders-turns-down-oakland-raiders-front-office-job-retiress

Also John Madden turned 79 yesterday. My favorite Madden quote?

“Hey, the offensive linemen are the biggest guys on the field, they’re bigger than everybody else, and that’s what makes them the biggest guys on the field.”

I'd say about 3% of Raiders fans nationwide have ever ventured to their shit hole stadium in their shit hole city. 48ers is the same way. Afraid of his own fan base and never made the trip to his football "mecca" because he knows he'll get the shit kicked out of him in the parking lot by his brethren.

I guess that pirate and silver and black just looked super cool and so, so tough. And Raiders fans across the nation clung to that tough guy image...

Oh, and **** John Madden. I hope he gets an eight-legged turkey shoved deep into his rectum for his birthday.

The The Madden of the announcing and game fame isnt anything. My hate came from the old AFL and that dirty fat ass coach to cheat and cheap shot. Piece of dirt didn't coach Al did in those days Madden was just his yes man gofer.

I liked his offenses, he seems like a good dude.

Don't know about the coaching rumors or whatever.

Good luck to him.

Yeah, people like him and Howie Long amaze me. Dirty, cheap shot people during their careers and then leave and try to act all friendly. Nope. I saw what you really are.

I like to think I can separate his coaching days from his broadcast days, but I have to admit that there has to be some of that bias when I think of him as a broadcaster.

People who never saw those Raider teams have no idea how much hate those dirty bastards brought out in Chiefs fans, and the rest of the league.

It is kind of strange. I can see how younger people would think well of them if they only saw them as broadcasters, and they probably don't believe us older guys when we talk about how terrible they were. But we know it's true.

When I brought my wife to Arrowhead from Denver for her first game...it was a no brainier...it was the Raider game.

You should stick to barbershop music, Ju Jitsu Jon. You appear to be too sensitive for the internet
