Football Would the Patriots have won if they still had Randy Moss?

Just curious.

I'm not sure if Randy was going to keep playing or if he was headed for a work slowdown as his contract negotiations happened, but regardless, if Randy Moss hadn't been traded, would the Patriots have beat the Jets in the playoffs today?

The revisionist history about how getting rid of him "opened up their offense" was ****ing bullshit from the beginning. He took the top off the D, and the Jets showed today what you can do against shitty receivers who can't beat 1 on 1 coverage or stretch the field vertically.

Their rookie TEs, save for one seam route to Gronkowski, were a complete non-factor as well.

If the Randy Moss that gave 100% on the field, and torched Darrelle Revis with a seemingly effortless one handed td grab in week 2 showed up, this is probably a different game.

While he might have made some good plays, he still would have needed Brady to get him the ball. It's tough to do that while on your back.
