The *OFFICIAL* ChiefsPlanet DUBIOUS PREDICTIONS thread !!

This thread is for posting and keeping track of predictions you think will FAIL.

STEP 1) Find a prediction

Step 2) quote it, copy and paste it here, using the QUOTE tag

step 3) make a rude / arrogant / snarky / smart ass comment

step 4) post it all, maybe include a picture of someone stupid just to show who is bawss

step 5) wait for prediction to fail

step 6) come back here, quote failed prediction

step 7) dick will grow .1 mm each time!!!!

I also dont have faith that he does any better , overall, than Cassel as a chief....(one decent season with a playoff loss)....

But I will say this: I hope I am wrong, I'd love for him to light it up

Alex Smith will remind EVERYONE of Matt Cassel.

A huge segment of the board will argue he is worse.

Homers will flood the board with excuses.

The four horsemen will break upon Andy Reid like tidal waves upon the shore.

Don't mean to pick on you but this is a little homerrific:

I mean even IN oakland?

If you would've just stuck to Alex being on the bench....maybe you wouldn't end up here

Seems reeruned, but **** it- I'll play. To Alex smith being as bad as casshole; I say bullshit. My hopes is better than green, but he'll be no where close to casshole.

And the raiders finishing ahead of the chiefs; there's a better chance the chiefs win the AFC championship game.....

Pretty bold, but I'm gonna go ahead and call it "dubious"......

Guess we will find out pretty soon!

My prediction:

People will come in this thread and post predictions without reading what they're actually supposed to be doing.

Oh, wait. That's not a prediction but an observation.

This is actually true. Every win Alex gets, we'll think of how focking awesome it is to not watch Cassel.

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,

Me, the biggest Alex Smith guy on this board, or probably any 49ers board, or Chiefs board at this moment, I understand exactly what Alex Smith does.

Hes not a top 10 qb. But, with the way the Chiefs are built, and the way the 49ers were built, he doesn't have to be.

I'm kind of thinking the opposite...if we DO end up at 3-1 (very doubtful) it will have to be because of Smith.....and if we end up at 1-3, the blame must thusly fall on his shoulders......

So this quote is a double layer of dubious predictions:

1) predicting the chiefs will be 3-1 (not impossible, but certainly dubious)

2) predicting that in the case they DO go 3-1 , that Alex smith is irrelevant.......

Personally I think that prediction #2 is just a set up for if we go 1-3, people can say "well we all KNEW alex smith wasn't going to make a difference, so therefore the rest of the team sucks" instead of admitting that blame lies on his shoulders.

I hope we do go 3-1 though.....I can't remember being excited 6-7 weeks into football season for a long time.....even 2010 it was pretty obvious we weren't going to do much post-season.
