The only person on this roster who even REMOTELY compares to Tavon Austin is Jamaal Charles. And he's hardly the WR that Austin is.

Imagine lining up both of those ****ers in the backfield. Which one takes the handoff? Or the screen? Do they both escape and create mismatches on your LBs? How do you defend them? Do they go into motion and split out wide? What if Tavon goes deep and you've stacked the box trying to help out your linebackers? What if you focus on that, but then Jamaal gets the delayed screen? What if you take them out but leave Avery or Bowe wide open?

Oh my God. That's a goddamned nightmare for a defensive coordinator. And a smart QB like Alex Smith would know EXACTLY the right way to use both of those players in the situation. He's also smart and poised enough to audible it to the rest of the team, one of the best in the NFL at doing that sort of thing.

Ehh, we probably don't need that. Boring ol' safe pick save money on the cap be a cheap asshole don't pay your players fat **** Eric Fisher was a great pick. Right?

thats been my argument, should have just taken whatever CB, FS, DL, or Tavon Austin @ 1 if there was plans to keep Albert.

Donald Stephenson can start in this league this year, so by next year we better have a spot for him.

They must be filled with regret.
2nd round is not 1st round number 1.

1. Fisher sucks- terrible pick- should have drafted Author Brown or Geno instead, dumbest move ever- he is getting thrown around like a little bitch in camp by scrubs.

2. Alex sucks- we gave away the farm for another brokedick 49ers QB.

3. Chiefs are stoopid and suck- always have always will- woo is me- the sky is falling- boo hoo!!
I just told you why Tavon Austin is at least 33,259 times a better pick at 1.1 than Eric Fisher.

Apparently that's not an argument you've heard before, because you still seem to be in disbelief when it was brought up by other people in this thread.

Wow, I have to say I'm loving this fan forum.

Some of you guys are straight beasts. talkin bout each others mom's, **** u's, eating dicks, etc.

Damn i thought the days of being internet gangsta's were done. Half that disrespect would probably piss in their pants if they actually knew the other person on the otherside of the forum. but damn, with some its not even anger or frustration with the team. many ive been reading are just straight insulting, and nothing about the team whatsoever.

its about TC now (2013), and we goin back to days of Deberg.

Def. gonna like posting in here.

As some said tho, Smith is just a piece of the puzzle.

We had what 6 pro-bowlers that should be even better this year. picked up another great CB.

on O we have Smith, Bowe, Charles, maybe one or two TE's that maybe can really make some noise, and hopefully a few Wr's that can step up.

Def look forward to seeing what we can do this season, and if we've made a step in the right direction. only time will tell.

...but being how crazy some are in here, if we have a losing record in pre-season, we are doomed for the regular season...

Do you really think that Kaeps productivity isn't similar to that of a first round QB? Do you think that there aren't several teams for not selecting him in the first round?

So that is why you were pimping for Tavon so hard before the draft?

I don't think I heard Anyone saying him for #1- not even draft experts- but I could be wrong.

Now he is being used for an excuse to not pick Fish- classic. Rose Colored Hindsight is 20/20.

Yep. QB isn't as important as people think. Just a cog in the machine. About as important as a RT or FS, methinks.
