When they pay them all their success will suffer.

The 9ers have so many draft picks this won't even faze them. He has two years remaining will be slowing down. Why would they pay him more? He is a very strong team leader as well as being a great TE so if they wanted to extend a year or two and pay him a little more I could see that. What I don't see is some big super contract coming.

It would be tough to replace 13 TDs from the TE position.
They have added a shit ton of WRs and bolstered the RB spot though.. |

As much as I'd like to see VD reunited with AS, he really only has 3-4 more years on him before he loses his speed..which is what makes him valuable. Not worth the picks, imo. Maybe a 3rd, but I don't see the 9ers trading him for that, he's too valuable now. |

The implosion of the 69ers begins.
Just wait until Harbaugh's barking starts to get ignored. The whole ****ing thing is going to crumble. |

However, Davis is sacrificing his annual $200,000 workout bonus in order to protest. The tight end would also be subject to additional fines if he takes the holdout into mid-June and misses the 49ers' mandatory minicamp.
So you want More money Vern, but you give up 200 k to run around in shorts for a week? |
