White cloud and luvs are too cheap. My little shit has been wearing pull ups since before she was one. She calls them her panties. /fond mommy moment. Talk about an asshole increase in price. Less product for substantially more money. It's not like I'm a super frugal girl I just think some price models are ridiculous.

I am old school, we used cloth diapers on our kids. More upfront cost but cheaper in the long run. Of course it also means doing laundry more days than not.

And when the kids grow out of needing them, they make great shop and dust rags!

We looked into that. It's definitely not like it used to be. The cloth diapers aren't just a rag you wrap up anymore. They're fitted and shit. And it was going to net save like $300-600. To me it wasn't worth the hassle and upfront cost.

Wife's sister gave us a ****LOAD of clothes. I have no idea why her kid even had that many clothes to start with. I'm pretty sure the kid now has as many clothes as I do on a volume basis I'm 6'3 and the baby's clothes take up more room than mine.

Wife is having a shower, but hopefully the baby doesn't come before the shower.

I'm probably just being a whiny bitch, but I'm getting nervous.

What if that sassy teen is out late past their curfew with the car but not have permission? What if then you get a call at 3am they are in jail for drunk driving?

That hasn't happened to me but just suppose for a minute that these things can and could happen with a sassy teenager.

A baby can cost you hours or a night of sleep. A teenager can cost you a hell of lot more headaches. I don't care how good of a parent you are or prepared you think you are teenagers are a different animal. One day everything is nice and dandy at home and the next day they make other plans that you just don't like so then it becomes a battle of will.

Don't listen to them. The first year is the most rewarding of them all. All the wonder and every day something new. I enjoyed the first years of my kids lives. If you can put up with the wife during pregnancy you can deal with a baby. Advice, make sure the child is on a schedule. It will help out immensely. And get rid of the pacifier between 9-12 months.
