Any options for those that don't get TBS and don't want to go to sports bar? I am watching the kids tonight as wife works nights. MLB will black it out since I am in KC. I had to listen to the radio on the playoff game with A's.

Curious about the WS if that were to ever happen, but I assume it would be the same kind of thing.
I just got this email yesterday:

Dear Royals Fan,
Thank you for registering for the chance to purchase 2014 Royals Postseason tickets before they go on sale to the public.
Unfortunately, your entry was not selected for the presale opportunity for the 2014 American League Championship Series.
Please be aware that you still remain eligible to be selected for a chance to buy presale tickets for potential World Series games at Kauffman Stadium. We will notify you via e-mail once the random drawing for that opportunity has taken place.
Tickets for the American League Championship Series will go on sale to the public on Friday, October 3, at 10 a.m. CT.

There is also the thought of hoping we go further and purchase ahead. I have the money just didn't expect the market to be like this. It's higher than Thunder playoff games and there are less available seats for those. Speaks volumes of how hungry KC is for post season success.

I'm really sick because going last Monday and Tuesday going to the Chiefs and Royals game fell through for me. What a couple of days that would have been. It was great enough watching from home.
You can always try your luck with a scalper or fans in the lot on Sunday. My buddy got an SRO for 60 in the lot on Tuesday.

That's what I was thinking. Someone trying to dump them right before game time is the best bet. Don't think they be any higher anyway.

Nix not on the roster.

Collins is though. That's a little scary. I'd rather have Bueno or Crow.

My buddy picked up a $90 seat an hour before Tuesday's game on Stubhub. People that can't go will either reduce their price or list them at a decent price so they don't have to eat them. Makes it difficult to plan, but it's worth a shot.

Clicked the ALCS presale button 20 minutes early... maybe a little demand for tickets when you have to wait in line online?

Quote:
We are currently experiencing a higher than usual number of fans attempting to purchase tickets. In an effort to be completely fair to all fans we have developed this Virtual Waiting Room, used to randomly allow access to the ticketing system during busy times such as this when all visitors cannot be served simultaneously. You are currently in the pool to be randomly chosen to enter the site to purchase tickets. When we automatically refresh your browser, the system will randomly determine your status in the virtual waiting room. You will either be randomly selected to continue to your ticket purchase or you will remain in the virtual waiting room.

When you are selected you will automatically see a popup which you must click on to enter the site. You will have a very limited amount of time to respond to the popup otherwise you will have to return to the Virtual Waiting Room, so please remain near your computer. Make sure your computer speakers are turned on to hear periodic countdown beeps. Closing your browser and opening a new one will not improve your chances of entering the site; however, you are welcome to return at a later time when the site is not as busy.

Kind of surprised ol' Ned didn't leave Ibanez on, considering his success against Weaver (.446 avg, 4 HR's).

If you bought group tickets or a partial season package, you get in on the presale... no promises, but (if they make it that far) since I'm buying the max (4) for every game, I'll offer extras here before putting them on stubhub.
