Not at all. I'm confident that paying two 2nd round picks is Reid's way of saying, "Alex is going to start for a long time in Kansas City."

Leaving no room whatsoever for spending more draft stock to acquire QBs like Geno or Foles.

I know I'm reading into this and that we will end up taking a OT with the top pick, but I don't think the door is sealed shut quite yet.

Go to 2:40 of this Dorsey interview from 3-6-13

She asks him "do any of these moves change your strategy for the draft?"

Dorsey's says "No, but I think it's helped us because now there are many options we can chose from. WE AREN'T PIDGEON HOLED INTO ONE POSITION WHERE EVERYONE SAYS WE MAY BE GOING. WE CAN ACTUALLY GO OUT AND DO CERTAIN THINGS THAT CAN HELP US BECOME A BETTER TEAM"

I know I'm biased due to my want/need for a legit franchise quarterback...but doesn't it seem like he may be saying we aren't gonna take a tackle (one position where everyone says we may be going) and we just might take a quarterback (do certain things that can help us become a better team)

If he is talking about trading down, they better not trade down with a team that wants Geno for anything less than "rape prices"

Did he yell the part in caps, or did you just forget how to bold stuff?

I copy and pasted from iPad. If the link doesn't work, just go to www.KCChiefs.com and click on the Reid interview and then click the Dorsey interview that pops up under it.

The 2:40 mark is what I was referencing and I know I'm just hoping on there being a chance for us...but until they don't call his name on draft day, I'm gonna keep hope alive.

Funny how for a QB not worth a high pick several of the top 5 teams are sniffing around. Must be looking at their high 2nd rounder...?

Andy Reid aid n an interview that he knew there was a serious energy in the room when they drafted McNabb and that the fanbase hated it.

When I read that, I wondered if the KC fans at Radio City Music Hall would actually boo it if we took Geno.

They need to have Rachel do all the interviews instead of the ginger.
