Madden NFL Cover Vote

If anyone cares, the final for the Madden 25 cover vote is between Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson, you can vote here: http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/feat...r?ex_cid=other

Quote:
Down to Two: Cover Vote Finals Begin

We have reached the final of the Madden NFL 25 Cover Vote, and what a matchup it is.

Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders narrowly defeated the San Francisco 49ers' Jerry Rice. Sanders, arguably the best running back in NFL history, is seeking his second EA SPORTS cover, after gracing the box of NCAA Football 13 alongside Robert Griffin III.

Sanders will face another dominant back in the Minnesota Vikings' Adrian Peterson. Despite tearing his ACL late in the 2011 season, Peterson returned to the field to amass one of the greatest seasons ever by a running back, finishing just nine yards short of the single-season record in 2012 en route to the MVP award.
Sanders and Peterson will bring the heated "Bedlam" rivalry to the Cover Vote finals. Sanders won the 1988 Heisman Trophy at Oklahoma State, while Peterson starred at rival Oklahoma.

Check out the latest EA SPORTS infographic, and vote today!

That says a lot for Barry Sanders to beat out that kind of company for the cover of Madden.

Yeah Marcus Allen went up against Sanders pretty early in the cover vote, but I agree, It would have been great to finally have a Chief on the cover.

I'm surprised Barry S. beat out Montana. He seemed preordained for the cover.

Same here. After Allen was voted out, I was rooting for Montana for the rest of the way for the "Old School" bracket. Shame he didn't make it.

I voted for Adrian Peterson.

Last season might have been the greatest season I will ever witness from any RB.

I can't vote against my fav player of all time.

I wish they both could be on the cover. It would make a lot more sense for the best RB of yesteryear and the best RB currently to be on the cover together.

That's what I was thinking too. It'd be cool to have it like the Madden 10 cover.

It's tough, but I'd have to agree. I too voted for AP.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The last regular season game he played in was one of the more fun games I've watched in quite some time, and it broke my heart that he fell short by so little. That last run of his had the potential, and everyone knew it, but it just wasn't meant to be. Oh well.
