Another bacon thread since my son's fugtard friends have shattered my reality
We live in a rural area and most weekends my son has friends that come over to hang out and spend Friday and Saturday night.

Anyway when I usually make breakfast in the morning I always cook the bacon crisp. I've received feedback from my son that his friends think I over do it. It's not burnt mind you, just crisp enough to where it can be broken into pieces.

For me, chewing on pork fat is disgusting so I always order it cooked crisp if I'm eating breakfast in a restaurant.

So my question is, with poll to follow, crisp or limp bacon?

Fair enough. My worst bacon experiences are when I order it in a restaurant and it actually will flop over if you pick it up. If it just bends that is a different story.

Maybe another question is have you ever been served a piece of bacon that you wouldn't eat....and not because you were already full. Because I have.

Don't care for it overly crispy but medium well is pretty good. It all depends on what the bacon application is being prepared for.
Bacon and eggs? Crispy
Bacon cheeseburgers? Crispy
Wrapped fillets? Medium
You get the point.

However, I do like it medium rare on occasion. Well done? If its thick bacon, yeah. If its the thin 3 bucks a pound Bar S crap, well done works.
