My votes in a tough two-way heat:

#1 - The Green Mile. I came into this expecting it to be my #2 scene, but it ends strong. It has a bit of an unfair advantage because it basically explains the whole movie, but I can't hold that against it. Plus, mice are cute with those big eyes and scampering gait.

#2 - Gran Torino. I thought this would be my #1 because of Clint Eastwood and an asian damsel in distress, but it dropped to #2 with another viewing. It's not as sweeping as the Green Mile scene.

#3 - Anchorman. I thought to myself, wow, why is this scene so bad? And then I recognized Will Ferrell and it became clear.

I couldn't agree more with the Will Ferrell/ Anchorman hate Rain Man. We eliminated one yesterday. Looks like another going down here. My faith is being restored in your poll process.

Gran Torino faces down the other threads and walks away with the Asian girl. And a Round 3 berth.
