I'll bet Warner's promised him he could make anything he wanted to after this. I think it was rumored a few years ago he was interested in directing a Justice League movie?

I still think the idea of having both of them in the same movie, especially if they're fighting each other, is absolutely ****tarded.

Getting sick of all this superhero crap.

They offered him Superman before Snyder.

Personally, I think he would have been a better choice. And he passed on Justice League.

He was very good, IMO, in The Town and in Argo. He's blossomed into an amazing director.

No one knows exactly what direction the new Batman character will take, so I'll withhold judgment until after I see it.

Either you are far more forgiving then I am or you grade on a curve. He definitely has improved. It's tempting to say he was "very good" recently but in fact if you look objectively it's just a matter of him not being absolute DOGSHIT like he has been in most films. At best his recent work would be generously called "below average" acting.

But hey I think batman is ghey so no big deal for me. They can go ahead and ruin the franchise for all I care.

Ben Affleck was fantastic in the film dogma.

I think it each project presents its own set of difficulties.

My opinion is that he was very believable and convincing in both Argo and The Town. That's all I ask of an actor: Is he or she believable?

Personally, I couldn't care less about prior performances. Most actors have a very long list of very forgettable (and often very bad) movies.

Affleck, IMO, is ascending.

I've always thought that most comic book heroes, especially the DC comic heroes, were dumb. When I was growing up, Batman was a cartoon, bordering on goofy. Same with Robin, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc. It was very difficult for me, as a thinking person even then, to buy into to such nonsense.

The Micheal Keaton Batman movies were a comic book brought to life. I didn't like any of those movies. Superman was "fun" but the sequels were a joke (as was the casting of Lois Lane). The old Wonder Woman series with Lynda Carter was dumb as ****.

Christopher Nolan got it right. The Dark Knight trilogy was a amazing. The first Iron Man film was really entertaining. The first Thor movie showed promise. The Green Lantern and Captain America were boring and trite. The Hulk with Ed Norton showed promise but Ang Lee's version was shit, IMO, as was Iron Man 2 and especially, The Avengers.

I couldn't care less about Batman Vs. Superman because I think that Zach Snyder is a schiester hack. But I think Affleck has real Hollywood talent, so I'll hold out judgment until I see the inevitable piece of shit movie it will most likely be.

I think one of the worst things about this information is that it's SUPERMAN'S MOVIE! By getting Affleck you're overshadowing Cavill big time. Everyone will be focused on how Affleck plays Batman; whether he was good, whether he sucked, the re-emergance of Batman is a big topic that should've been tackled in Justice League, or a new Batman movie. I think it's the most ridiculous thing to have Superman vs Batman, just not even a competition, you could've had the new Green Lantern guest star in this movie. Since you're dragging your feet like hell on Wonder Woman getting her own film you could've had her guest star in this movie. Hell you could've even had Aquaman... but not Batman. DC is so far behind Marvel that they'll never catch up, I enjoyed Man of Steel and I don't want the sequel to be a 50/50 split in screen time with another hero, I'm sorry.

DC, outside of Batman, sucks Dude.

Aqua Man? ****ing Aqua Man?

He should open a sushi restaurant and call it a day because he's ****ing worthless unless he's related to Blackbeard and can help hunt pirate treasure.
