***KC Royals vs Baltimore Orioles- July 25th, 2013***

I get married, have sex for the first time and the Royals win my first game back from vacation! What could be better? How about two wins in a row against Baltimore, which should rank high on your list of shittiest cities in America. I mean, have you seen The Wire? They made a whole TV show about the shittiness of that city.

Starting Pitchers
Baltimore: Gonzalez (8-3, 3.34 ERA)
Kansas City: Guthrie (9-7, 4.41 ERA)

Baltimore
1.N. McLouth, LF
2.M. Machado, 3B
3.N. Markakis, RF
4.A. Jones, CF
5.C. Davis, 1B
6.M. Wieters, C
7.J. Hardy, SS
8.H. Urrutia, DH
9.B. Roberts, 2B

Kansas City
1 A. Gordon, LF
2 E. Hosmer, 1B
3 B. Butler, DH
4 S. Perez, C
5 D. Lough, RF
6 M. Moustakas, 3B
7 A. Escobar, SS
8 C. Getz, 2B
9 J. Dyson, CF

Now the Royals start the "easy" stretch of their schedule ... where you just know they're gonna go 10-10 or 9-11.

Hud pointing to the K gun to claim that Guthrie "is back" since he was sitting 95-96, when that same gun was "hot" last night when Chen was hitting 92.

I was just thinking, they're back to 3 games under, so it's time to tank for a week.

Sadly that's what will probably happen.

But they survived this series, and that was important. There are many Indians/Tigers games left... but aside from that they only have 8 games left against teams with a better winning percentage than them. So if they're a real baseball team... you could easily say they control their own destiny.

So we know we're going to buy because DM is going to cover his ass and try to protect his job, no matter the math.

Best 2B options?

I don't want Rios. I'll stay with Lough in RF.

So if this were the NFL, the Royals would be 4-6 and it's Mid November?

Eh, I'd say 4-5, with three games left against both the Chargers and Broncos, and the rest of the schedule outside of that is a bunch of other 4 and 5 win teams.
