Old movies that bring back nostalgic memories

I'm watching the original Karate Kid movie, and it surprises me how much I'm enjoying it. It just really brings me back to when I was a kid --- I was 11 when this came out. Sweep the leg is still a phrase that is iconic, but the Daniel san and Mr. Miyagi relationship was good stuff. And what teenage boy wasn't in love with Elizabeth Shue?

All that said, what movies have you seen as an adult that really took you back to when you were a kid? I sometimes assume these old movies won't hold up, but it's not really about that when nostalgia is involved.

The Blues Brothers. It would be on HBO at 5am and my buddy would come over and watch it before school. I've seen it probably a hundred times. So many classic lines in it.

**** yeah sandlot. That one has stood the test of time well. Awesome movie.

I have to add Tango and Cash. It hasn't aged as well.

Blue Brothers (my step brother and I would re-enact scenes from the movie as kids)
Time Bandits (under-rated classic)
Blade Runner (still the best death scene ever)

when this first hit HBO...we didn't have HBO...HOWEVER....I could get it for free but it was very fuzzy and hazy and I'd add tinfoil to the rabbit ears and move them just so...keep readjusting throughout...but I could watch it.

at the same time HBO was running this all they time...they were doing the same with Midnight Express.

I've seen these two movies more than any others. over and over again. I thought it was so damn cool getting HBO for free.
