They were lacking something somewhere along the line - i.e. armstrength, size, anticipation, a feel for the game, intangibles etc... Tim Tebow has it all. All Tim Tebow lacks are minor mechanical things that can be worked on. And guess what, he is working on them.

Tebow is going to be a good one. Ask Dane McCloud or any poster here who is non-biased enough to admit it.

Uhhhhh.... I thought that the consensus was pretty much that Tebow was probably going to take a year or two until he was ready to start. Guess everyone was wrong, he beat out Kyle Orton before his first season ended.

He didn't beat out anyone. You beat out people for jobs in training camp. He got the job by default because the Broncos season was over and the team was going nowhere.

It's still a go-nowhere team. I don't expect you to ever admit that though, but come November, when they are terrible again, you'll be back to watching the first quarters of games and turning them off like the true fan you are.

I don't agree with all of that... who knows what will happen this year. Are they a SB contender? Hell no... could they win 8-9 games? Sure.

Tebow didn't beat out Orton - most people know this to be fact. The defense needs lots of help at each position. Offensively, RB/TE are the major need areas... OL depth will get a look, but if Denver is going to change things - they need to focus on defense first.

It really doesn't matter if they alternate QBs every other game at this point... so, I'm not concerned with QB. They simply have to fix the defense.
