I'm still mad that we had Dyson and Mondesi at 2nd and 3rd and could not score with zero outs. Couldnt sleep it off.

On the flip side, the Yankees had a ton of opportunities they also didn't take advantage of. Really surprised we didn't pull it out though --- that is precisely the type of game we've been winning the last few years.

We drop a few every once in a while too, but this team has a knack to bounce back in a huge way.

A game that comes to mind is the painful, painful home game against the Indians in September of 2014. Bases loaded with no out in the 10th inning, Jayson Nix struck out on three pitches and the Royals blow the inning and the game. It was a painful and devastating loss at that point. Another was the one when Sal forgot to tag against the Tigers (a replay botched by the Royals own video crew).

People often forget the swoon we had in 2014. Over the last two years, the majority of us on CP declared the Royals dead about two weeks in September. On both occasions they turned it around in a huge way, we'll see if they can do it here too.

The Royals lost in extra innings the next night, too.
