Movies

Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

Never saw the Original, but did see this , on the past weekend. Kinda disturbing. But Kate Bosworth, short shorts, sweaty and braless entire movie was worth it.

No a fan of Robert Patterson, but the film and he were pretty good. Witherspoon and Weintz were great as well. Great pacing, I'm a sucker for 30's era based films. And kudos to Hal Holbrooke , still in there swinging, great actor.

Seeing Tintin later this week. Can't wait!

Took my wife to see New Year's Eve yesterday. Not a bad movie. There's so many celebrities in the movie it's crazy.

Water for Elephants was better than I thought it was going to be.

I hate to say it...but Robert Pattinson isn't that bad of an actor when he's not playing a douche bag vampire.

There's another sports doc on Netflix called "Rising Son: Christian Hosoi" that is excellent. It's obviously about Hosoi's life. I recommend it to everyone.

Good rule of thumb for all of Palahniuk's books. Must read, if there's a movie it's probably pretty damn good, and the book is still 100x better.
