If we pretend things, we did just fine.. SO anyway How did PFF grade Branden Albert this weekend - anyone have a PFF sub that can post it up? Im genuinely curious how his reconstructive surgery went.

You don't have to actually pretend anything. Fisher was 100% the right pick, and we also got a great TE. In a draft as bad as that was, you really can't as for much more. Especially considering we didn't even have a 2nd. No matter how much you guys continue to bitch about it, that's the truth.

Schwartz gave up 1 pressure? I thought he was worse than that, but I'm guessing that was the 3rd string rg.
Wilkerson, williams, and Richardson are so good. I thought our patchwork ol actualky handled themselves pretty good. |

we had the 1st overall pick and I'm not talking about the kelce pick...Im talking about the Fisher pick. If you can't look at the fisher pick and at least examine the pros and cons objectively, then theres really no point in talking to you. They werent a package deal in any way. Kelce was a seperate pick and thus far looks to be a great pick. I agree. But in and of itself the Fisher pick looks suspicious to me , especially with moving him around from side to side the 1st couple years. Theres at least 3 guys around the top 10 that were better picks and fits for the chiefs....and I havent even looked at it that closely. SOme of this is hindsight, but thats all we get sometimes. WIth hindsight, I do not think Fisher was the best direction for the 1.1 that we could've taken. Its super frustrating it was a weak draft class...but even still we couldve done better IMO.

fisher did jack shit last week, and was worse this week
multiple sacks and penalties combined over two weeks but it's ok, because we were playing good defense so he isn't expected to play well the lowest bar for a #1 pick in draft history: Eric "he'll be better when we play a bad team" Fisher

That was partly because Hill is short and partly because Smith screwed up the throw.

The defense has consistently been the strength of this team despite multiple moving parts. It's the only aspect of the team that can legitimately be counted on to perform well week-in and week-out. |
