*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Mahomes has already moved up on the All Time Chiefs Passing Yardage leaders from #95 to #23 in three starts.

Should be #21 after Sunday!

So I never understood this media narrative about Mahomes being turn over prone....

People compare him to Farve and a "gun slinger" and just immediately associated that with Int's....

He is a Gun Slinger, he will make all the throws and improvise when things break down and still look for the home run..... he didn't throw Ints in college

The only way he compare to Farve is Arm Talent, Love for the game, and cool under pressure. Everything else about him doesn't fit Farve MO.

He studies hard, he doesn't party, he is willing to take direction and coaching, which of those do you associate with Farve.

He is much more like Aaron Rodgers than Farve.... except he loves the game

I feel like a kid again. I'm actively looking forward to Chiefs games all week for the first time in a long time. In fact, the addition of Mahomes has given me a much better outlook on life.

The food tastes better.
The bowel movements feel stronger.
The sex feels more pleasurable.

In summary, Patrick Mahomes is awesome.
