This tax plan was sold as a middle class tax cut. Stuff like this is exactly what critics of this bill were worried about. There is a finite amount of wealth in this country. When the rich take more and more of it, it leaves less for those at the middle and bottom.
The people that pay the taxes are the people that will benefit from a tax cut?
The hell you say.

Is it too blunt to say that people who don't have 401ks, or those who don't own stocks (in addition to 401ks), don't really matter?

This is America buddy, we speak English, we're capitalists, and that means we strive to be successful, have 401ks, own stocks, or don't complain about those who played the game and do.

So they can feel free to live under a rock, or in the woods, but don't whine about those of us who are normal.

As a CEO you're responsible to the stakeholders not medical research. They know that they will never get paid for said research anymore so why should invest in it.

Stock performance is an important part of these plans as it does play into negotiations.

By public workers, you meant state employees. Got it. And you mentioned union employees. The number of which are declining. That still leaves huge numbers of people without any stock based retirement plan.

It was sold as corporate tax reform along with an individual tax cut that benefits the middle class. Exactly what it is.

There’s not a finite amount of wealth in the country over time.

Did they do away with IRA's? When did that happen? Roth? Traditional? Self directed?

Goddammit Trump you bastard!

Over time wealth increases, that's not the same as infinite wealth.

Correct and most of those folks are unemployed or choose not to work, under the age of 18, in college or grad school, or working an unskilled job. Most Americans working any skilled job have access to a retirement plan or pension plan, those that don't also have access to individual IRA's.

I don't know what the **** your question is... You use finite and infinite

Wealth grows and can grow quickly. Would it be nice if living wages increase, of course. It's not going to happen until you control the supply of low skill labor flowing into this country. This wealth is redistributed as capital gains taxes and through spending by those with wealth. Critics of the bill were worried, those who understand the bill weren't. We are seeing a great benefit to millions of workers, but you would prefer a socialist society and that is not what we are or will ever become, at least without a fight. This tax cut is good for America and will be especially good to those folks who's wages have been stagnant or their jobs being moved overseas.

What is your ideal tax structure?
