It occurred to me that this might be a good advantage against the Colts (and God knows we can use all of those we can get). The forecasted brutal heat and humidity might work to our advantage. I wonder if they typically practice inside or outside?
Any thoughts? |

I had been hoping for the same thing, it will be intersting to see if their players will be able to last long, and how long Edge can deal with the heat.

We can only hope the dome wienies melt in the hot sun. This could potentially be a better natural advantage than the thin Denver air.

You know, you could be right. The heat might be THE deciding factor! Literally turning on the HEAT on the opposition! LOL!

We practice outdoors. It remains to be seen how we handle 100 degree temp. We already know we can handle the cold at Arrowhead.
I'm glad we'll be wearing all white for this game. Your guys will wish they were. |

Seems like the choice of uniforms is up to the home team. Something tells me the Chiefs may be wearing white on Sunday.

IMHO, the heat is NOT an advantage to the Chiefs. Look back at the past and you'll find that it's usually the Chiefs who do NOT play well in the heat. We have lost alot of games to warm weather teams in recent seasons. (Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, San Diego to name a few). Here's a scary thought - It was hot the night the 49'ers rolled us in preseason.

On second thought maybe I shouldn't be too surprised. He would probably want to prove how "tough" we are...

I think we should arrange for the visiting team's "cool zone" machines and locker room AC to malfunction...

Good point, but when we lost those games we lost to teams at home who played in it all the time. That will not be the case with Indy.
I'm not predicting certain victory here. We all know that the Colts are the better team here. We have the advantage of home field and (maybe) weather the opposition is less unaccustomed to than us. Hopefully these factors, plus the emotional charge of DT's ceremony, will put us over the top. GO CHIEFS! |

Colts the better team may not be entirely accurate. Certainly, they have better personnel at the skill positions. However, I think we match up well overall. It will certainly be a contest. Can't wait for Sunday!

TX,
Sort of like when he chose Bentley as the kickoff guy because he had ripped off sleeves in the cold weather, eh? |
