Raiders.com reports the Oakland Raiders signed free agent QB Jeff George to a contract Monday, Aug. 28. Financial terms were not released.

Agreed. George just wasnt a good fit for Jimmy Raye's dink and dunk offense that season. If he still has the cannon, he would be a great fit for an offense that loves to air it out like the Raiders....Who knows? He could end up being the sleeper QB of the year? Stranger things have happened.

I'm sure is arm is still fine. His problem is when he audibles away for the called play/accuracy on throws ect. Mostly it's just his decision making. Also he's lost his burst in scrambling.
