MINNEAPOLIS - A New Jersey woman best known as "Tan Mom" spent Thursday night at a Twin Cities detox facility after causing a ruckus at Minneapolis-St. Paul International.

Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesman Pat Hogan tells KARE 11 that airport police were called to the Delta ticket counter on a report of an intoxicated female. There they found Patricia Krentcil, who became a social media pariah after she allegedly took her 5-year-old daughter to a tanning bed.

Hogan said Krentcil was not arrested, but was taken to detox.

TMZ reports that Krentcil had a layover in Minneapolis and decided to leave the airport's secure area to have a cigarette. When she tried to return to the gate TSA agents wouldn't let her back in.

Then, according to TMZ, "the mood turned as dark as her (skin). Tan Mom went ballistic."

Wonder if it is close to the Larry Craig Bathroom
