2 questions about the Royals here .......

OK, this shows my lack of attention about the Royals these days, which is sad, I use to be a good fan during the 70-80's .

1). When did they move ST to AZ from Florida.

2). Was't Keven Appier suppose to be part of the roation again this year, what's up with that ?

1. 2003? This is only their 3rd year out there.

2. He was trying to get that 5th spot until he got lit up everytime he pitched.

Appier went into camp knowing he was unlikely to make the rotation. He's stated that he just wants a chance to go out on his own terms, not due to the arm injury he suffered about two seasons ago. If he hadn't hurt his arm he'd have retired by now. Currently, the Royals are trying to 'showcase' him for other teams. If he dosen't make a big league roster out of camp, he'll retire.

Man, we had no idea how good we had it as Royal's fans through 1990. Wow, MLB bites, today.
