So he can take his rings and shove them up his gargantuan ass!

Funny how he used to be sought after for so many commercial gigs, they seem to have dried-up in favor of others. I'm sure his reply is that he doesn't care (which is obvious), but I'm sure it bothers him that he's gone from a hero to a zero in many categories.

But alas, he has two rings..

Um, what? I see LeBron in commercials all over.

Maybe you've seen this one... it was only aired nearly every commercial break during the Finals.

His endorsements have actually gone up.

I don't fault Lebron for why he made that decision, it was how he did it.
Good point, but the why still bothers me. It tells me that KC fans may never see an NFL super bowl or baseball world series again. Not because KC isn't great, it's because it's not a vacation destination... Or some stupid shit-hole like New York, L.A., or Chicago - big, but suck big too.. Ugh!

I don't watch much NBA ball anymore, but there is no way in my mind that any of these kids are ever going to make me watch like MJ did. Having said that, Lebron is a great basketball player along with a number of other great ball players of the era.

OK, you got me, he's in one... He still sucks, and this one sucked compared to the ones that actually entertained me enough to not change the channel...

I genuinely feel bad for these people. We are watching the best player since MJ right at the peak of his abilities, and people cant just enjoy it, have to find reasons to complain.

He came to Miami because he wanted a better opportunity to win a championship. A decision no different than one that plenty of other professional athletes have made for their careers (and one that I'm sure LeBron will make again if he feels he needs to). It might be time to get over it.
You are an apologist if you actually want to sell the idea that what lebron did was normal. Nobody faults him for leaving. Nobody would fault him if he used his team to leverage for more money. It was the way he did it and that wasn't driven by money, it was driven by ego.

Cleveland is a shithole.

The irony of all of this (of course) is that a town like Cleveland that needs LeBron from a happiness standpoint lost him to the worst sports city in the entire country.

The Heat is a great team and deserving champion, but Miami should not have any professional sports.
Ok I've been to Toronto. It's a giant ****ing ghetto.

You can't be serious. You're going to compare Toronto and Cleveland? Cleveland is the most cursed sports city in America and it's not even close. You realize that the last official championship Cleveland has won in 3 sports was in 1948,right?

It was when I was 20. We went to Windsor, of course, for gambling. My buddy met a chick from Toronto in Florida the summer before so we took a road trip from Windsor to Toronto to meet up with her and a friend one of the nights...and of course we had been up for 36 straight hours. I remember two things: The drive there we drove 110 MPH because our theory was if we get a ticket in Canada who cares? And that Toronto was a huge ****ing ugly ghetto littered with projects...and the girls didn't bang us and were grossly offended by my behavior. So three things.
