Glenn Dorsey
We have yet to see him do this sack/TFL celebration as a Chief. |

I thought Chris Johnson was gonna be a huge bust. Did not like that pick for TEN at all. I was way the **** off.

So are you suggesting that Dorsey is a bust?

Ryan Sims. Even before the Chiefs drafted him I was targeting him as the best of the 4 tackles that year.

Jay Cutler. I thought he was going to be the next Elway.

I don't remember who drafted him, so it was probably some team like the Falcons or the Panthers. The league obviously knew something that I didn't. He was rated as a top-ten talent at cornerback and then on draft day slid all the way into the second round or even later.

Matt Ryan,Michale Huff are some recent ones. My worst one though was Ryan Leaf. I actually thought he would be better then Manning. I was a dumb ass on that one.

In a way, he is. He was such a jerk that the team that drafted him wanted nothing to do with him.

It's been Brees for me as well.
Although I've been so wrong about so many first round picks it's hard to keep the list to just one. I wanted Wendall Bryant instead of Sims. And Alan Branch instead of Bowe. And Matt Ryan instead of Dorsey. Well, okay, maybe not that last one. I guess you could argue Sanchez would be next to Brees if he eventually pans out, but my contention with him was (is and will always be) that he had not done enough on the field to warrant a top-5 pick, rather than he couldn't ever be a franchise QB. And I think project guys like that should fall to later in the round. We'll see how he develops. |

Is it a little too soon to say you were wrong about him?
He had a terrific rookie season followed by a horribly inconsistent sophomore season. He was a gunslinger in college and given his INT rate last season, I wonder if that's the case in the NFL too. |
