BTW, if you sign up for auto withdrawal, there is a $10/month credit. So I saved $240 more!

Called Customer Retention.

Talked to Chris, a Donkey fan, and stated I wanted to renew my agreement as it had recently expired. Told him that I wanted the Genie hardware and GenieGO and the Sunday Ticket all for free. To my amazement, he said yes. 2 year contract.

Next year, I'm scheduled to get Sunday Ticket Max at half price. He said to call in next year and they should waive the cost.

Told him to watch out for the KC this year. Our defense is looking good.

He spent an hour putting the order together. He appreciated the fact I didn't threaten to leave..or other head games.

LOVE Direct TV. Been a customer for 15+ years.

I'm setup to have an install next Sunday Sept 1. Was supposed to be today, but the original CSR screwed up the workorder because she was supposed to add the $200 Visa card promotion and she didnt. Had to redo the whole damn work order and lost the installation date for today. Pissed me off, but after bothering csr's the last 3 days have been guaranteed because of the inconvenience I'll have some kickass discounts and promotions comin my way. Sucks I have to wait til next Sunday, but oh well, at least it will be installed before NFL kicks off for real. Hopefully I'll like directv, I'm switching from dish and my wife has been a dish customer for 6-7 years, she didnt wanna switch but I convinced her because I've wanted NFLST for a couple years now.

NFL exclusive rights are up for grabs next year. I know DTV is not the current front runner and I hope they somehow renew because Ive been with them also for the last 10 or so years.
