I figured I would start a thread for this and see what happens....there seemed to be quite a few viewers on the board for this show the past few weeks.....I like the direction the show is taking so far......episode 3 tonight at 7 central on ABC....

You guys are overthinking. Carlton/Cuse have expressly said O6 is the six we think it is. And the rep said it's not the best branding as a representative of Oceanic freaking Airlines. . . ie, now their name is tied to this crash in an even more iconic and catchy way, with the side effect of it appearing that Oceanic has forgotten about those that 'died' and just want to pimp these survivors.

It's pretty clear that she was trying to make it clear that it was a TWO HOUR finale. Remember the extra hour was added at the last minute by the brass when CnC pled that they couldn't fit it all in in the time alloted. I think they're STILL in post-production. So it looks like EL spaced when Jimmy made it clear that the finale was 2-hours in a row, two weeks from now, [and she may not even know they're playing those two hours back-to-back] and just wanted people to be aware that there actually 2 hours of 'finale.'

That's what I mentioned, too.

I think she had one too many shots at Hooters, which is right next door to the El Capitan Theatre where Kimmel is taped.

I'm not so sure. I am intrigued by one of her sentences. She says it is the same story, but we're going to tell it twice. I keep hearing that this finale is going be a "gamechanger" like last year's flash forwards. Well, what if we get something like one episode, but from 2 different perspectives?
