I figured I would start a thread for this and see what happens....there seemed to be quite a few viewers on the board for this show the past few weeks.....I like the direction the show is taking so far......episode 3 tonight at 7 central on ABC....

They pretty much implied that the walking Locke was the Man In Black or the Smoke Monster pretending to be him.

The real Locke is dead.

I may be in the minority, but I thought this was the worst episode of the series. Terrible cgi, a bit of a mess in plot and some real stretches (even for LOST)

They went out of their way to be bizarre on this one. I read some reviews that said this ep would actually create more questions rather than provide any answers. It definitely did that.

CGI has always been terrible.

Plot was actually pretty tight for LOST standards. What stretches?

1. Sayid the new Jacob? Dead is dead...right?
2. Flocke, Esau, the black smoke, whatever....on his way to take the temple back?
3. Claire wasn't on the plane....but she was in the cab....looking disheveled (or older) and nothing like she looked in the season 1 premier.
4. Flocke going to threaten to kill Richard unless the others give the temple back.
5. So all 5 seasons have basically been the story of the Black Smoke trying to get its temple back.
6. Flocke was glad to see Richard out of his chains. A slave on the Black Rock? Or figuratively being chained to Jacob as his servant all these years?
7. Didn't you all notice how everything in the alternate reality was totally opposite? Hurley embracing his luck (he hated it in the original story), Sawyer always in a chipper mood (he was a prick in the original), Jack being the nervous one instead of Rose.

Claire was on the plane, they just never showed it. A lot of time had passed by the time the taxi came into play.

The one thing I couldn't pick up on with her was whether or not she was pregnant in this timeline. Considering everything is "the opposite" in this timeline, I am betting she isn't pregnant.
