My follow up to "Say hello to President Kerry."

Ever since the debates my pessimism has been waning. My hope has been growing because it seems like the debates have caused more people to recognize the illusion that is the "Bush Presidency," including many moderate republicans that I know.

Seriously, when I saw Rove and the whole gang of Bush aides resorting to mockery today by stepping out in duck hunting gear, I thought to myself, "My God, they are juvenile. Even the average American can see how petty they are and how desperate they are behaving."

I think they have seen the writing on the wall. My only concern is Ohio. Listening to Rove tonight gave me the impression they will be "digging in" the same way they "dug in" in FLA last time. I'm convinced they have decided that Ohio will decide this election. That has me worried because it seems like they always get things to go their way in the end.

Other than that, the swelling of support nationwide seems to be for change. I'm feeling that maybe all the slogans, photo-ops, character attacks, Diebold voting machines, and the unAmerican tactic of voter suppression won't be enough to save the "lip-service" presidency of George W. Bush.

I hope my sense is correct because our country deserves better.

Well while I don't share your cocky enthusiasm or certainty I was more than alittle reassured at how much trouble DUHbya was in today after listening to Rush Limbaugh spend MUCH of his radio show talking about the polls and internals and trends and very little about what DUHbya had done that would actually spell a victory....

I think if I had any doubts at how close the race is they were eliminated today...

I've listened to that cocky MF for 15 years and three elections. I know what he says and what he sells when he's confident and what he's saying and selling when he's not...

I did NOT hear confidence yesterday. I heard hope and major cajoling but no confidence.
