Very good news.....I live in a town full of Democrats who are going to be crying a lot tomorrow.....everyone was sure that McCaskill was going to win.

Blunt, Bond, and Kinder look like winners.....what is sad is that the Carnahan kids won solely on daddy's name.

Mmaddog, my sister lives in Columbia. A month ago her husband put a Bush-Cheney sign in their front yard. My sister worried that it would be targeted for vandalism, but a funny thing happened --- soon several other B-C signs went up in the neighborhood, as if they all suddenly felt like it was "safe" to do that.

The two candidates seemed very similar to me (both suck); I didn't vote for either. I am VERY glad that that hippo was tossed, even if it meant another Carnihan in office. I had no inclination that Hannaway would lose, but she deserved it.

BTW,
Blunt won't make a WH bid; dude sounds like a he's still waiting for his testes to drop. If I've learned anything living in MO, it's that our political candidates completely suck; I wouldn't wish them on anyone else.
