Lamar Hunt is the founder of Hunt's. You know, the one that makes ketchup and other tomato products. The Chiefs wear red to signify Lamar's success with tomatoes. Our alternate color is yellow because ketchup always goes with mustard.

I guess I'll have to find out that Mr. Hunt, do you guys think it would be OK if I called him Lamrar?, founded the AFL back in '60.

As far as where I was in the '90's ... High School, College, and Army, and suffering through a couple of horrible seasons with a superbowl birth in the middle. Generally a dark time for New England sports.

He's an owner who once upon a time took a vested interest in delivering a quality football product. Since the Super Bowl win, he has been content with just being a hands-off owner, who prefers the almighty dollar to putting the absolute best product on the field. He is a great man and has done alot for Kansas City, but because of his one great influence on the sport, he has sadly rested on his laurels.
