Yeah Jared Allen...

Watching this guy was fun last night... It's good to see an Idaho boy getting his chance. He was the talk of the state when he was playing with THE Idaho State (I bust a gut on that one). I almost went to ISU. Thank God my best friend talked some sense into me, and I ended up at the University of Idaho. But I always like watching other Idaho products make the big stage.

What was so fun? He got a sack on the first play, other than that he didn't do much. Brady had tons of time.

I think with Jared Allen and Siavii, in the future we may be alright, but we need a new secondary...

he's got a lot of potential....but serveral times they ran right at his gap while he was flying up field....but they do the same thing to speed rusher everywhere (Freeney..hell, DT even)

I like his motor...he never quits and he never is intimidated, we need 10 more players with his attitude on D....I think he's a keeper and not a fluke

I don't know if he can be a starter in the league full time, but as a pass rushing specialist he could be a beast.

With time he could be a starter.

I would imagine that they are going to put some weight on him in the offseason.

Jared Allen

IMO Jared and Dalton are the only bright spots on D this year the rest suck. Woods, Bartee, Maz, Mitchell, Warfield, Holliday are all overpaid bums and hurt the chiefs with stupid mistakes, missed tackles, and being out of postion.

Gunther was given a bunch of rejects basically. More than half of these guys are not even 2nd stringers in this league.

I like him, too. I have a similar problem as you, though. He seems to get so focused on getting the QB at times that he forgets containment. In addition, there were a few times where the back ran right past him because he was so focused on the QB. I like the instincts, but he's got to develop a little bit better vision.

He needs more dicipline, but he's definitely a keeper. His intensity is unmatched on our defense.

I like Allen, he has some attitude. He needs work, but I feel good about him being a starter next year.

On the D Line next year we need to start him, and have a three man rotation of Sims, Savii, and Dalton. We then would play Wilkerson, or Browning at the other DE spot to start the year, or until our first round monster DE is ready to play.

I love watching how fire up he gets, and how he gives 110% every play. I do not like his inability to break away from a block on running plays. He has some serious potential!

I think he needs to re-negotiate his contract for an extra 10k per sack, to cover the fine of the sack dance. That was one of the best sack dances in the history of the NFL, and we don't get to see it anymore because he can't cover the fine!

Hey TJ. On a similar subject, being a Cyclone fan I was a big fan of Reggie Hayward. I thought he could be a great pick for us in the round he was gonna get drafted. Your team snatched him though much to my disappointment. How has he been doing?
