Did this happen to the Royals too?

I don't follow baseball much. But do I remember right that immediately before the last baseball season there were predictions of 2004 glory for them just like the Chiefs? And did they tank too the same way? Just curious.

They expected to win their division...and they had their worst season in team history......which is saying a lot.

But the good news is Vlad didn't predict it.

The Chiefs have yet to accomplish the worst season in team history....but the season isn't over yet...

So, if I were supersticious, I'd say there is a 2004 voodoo curse on KC. Sportswise. I really think the Chiefs are much better than their record. It's just been a "Twilight Zone" season.

Yeah, and the funny part was the Royals were the exact opposite of the Chiefs, they hit the free agent market hard and made what just about every expert in America thought was a great set of free agent pickups. Yeah.... that's life as a KC sports fan... can't draft a team, can't make one out of FA's, can't catch a break...

It's that "Odd year / Even Year" thing.

1995, record = 13-3

I had one of the best times of my sporting life on opening day last year at the K. Winning it like we did, I think the sentiments of the entire stadium was "this is our year". The rest is history.
